Clearwater Beach Restaurant Walk Kicks off May 10th
The Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 4th annual Restaurant Walk. Restaurant Walk lasts until May 18th – but you won’t want to miss the kick-off event on the 12th.
Admission to the kick-off event is $20 per person. You’ll get 20 taste tickets (you can buy more if you want) to sample food from each of the restaurant booths on the Walk. You’ll also be able to sample a host of different wines.
Guitarist Nick Colionne will play live at the kick-off event. If you’re not familiar with Colionne’s music you can view a video here:
Restaurant Week itself comes with a long list of participating restaurants. When you sign up to participate you’ll get a passport. As you visit each restaurant to enjoy their special Restaurant Week three course meals you’ll get a stamp for your passport.
The meals themselves are pretty awesome, too! Three course meals at each restaurant, with prices ranging from $15 to $30 per person.
Four stamps from four different restaurants allows you to enter your passport into the Restaurant Week Dream Beach getaway contest. The Grand Prize is a two-night stay in a Gulf-front two bedroom suite at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa – a nice vacation or “staycation” depending on where you live in the Tampa Bay area.
There are also raffle events at the kick-off, so you can be a winner even if you’re not the “big winner.” There are dozens of raffle baskets on offer from area restaurants and businesses.
Tampa Bay Night Life TV did a video on last year’s event, too. Check out all the delicious food footage!
This looks like it’s going to be a ton of fun!
