Tis the season to…get the heck out of the house!

There are dozens of cool events going on in our service area this year. We’ve picked a few cool ones, but if none of these appeal to you, do a little more digging. You’re sure to find something.

Pasco County Celebration of Lights

This one started on November 30th and runs until December 23rd. You’ll find it on Alric Pottberg Road in Shady Hills. There are places to drive, places to take a train, and places to walk, depending on how you want to see the lights.

The price is $10 per car, and $4 for the train. Walking is free.

Pasco Fine Arts Christmas Open House

If you love the idea of buying handmade, original art to give as gifts (or to take home for yourself) while enjoying lovely light refreshments, you won’t want to miss this one. Just head to 4145 Fairford Drive on December 1st at 10:30 AM.

Cotee River Christmas Parade

Want to watch a boat parade? You can if you head to Sims Park in New Port Richey on December 1st. There’s going to be a festival, too, with lots of activity, food, and drinks. The fun kicks off at 6 PM, so don’t be late!

Holiday Craft Fair

You’ll find this one happening on December 2nd right here in Spring Hill at 5214 Mariner. It’s happening from 9 AM to 4 PM. Admission is free, but there will be all sorts of crafts you can browse.

You might just find a holiday gift you couldn’t find anywhere else.

Christmas on Mainstreet

You’ll find this event happening in Brooksville, down at the Courthouse, on December 6th from 5 PM to 9 PM. They’ve got a lot planned. You’ll find street vendors selling holiday treats and gifts. Many of the shops have extended their hours for this events. There will be a Christmas Movie on Main Street at 8 PM.

And they’re doing a few things beyond that. This is definitely a “something for everyone” sort of event.

Nightly Caroling at the Brooksville Courthouse

This is going on every night from December 7 to December 24th. If you’ve always been too shy to go door-to-door (or can’t ever get anyone to come to yours) this is a fun way to enjoy an age-old holiday tradition.

We aren’t in charge of any of these events!
